Welcome back to the Fantasy Hockey Hacks Podcast!

In the eleventh episode of the podcast, Devon, Bruce, and John discuss recent news from around the NHL, including playoff performances from Tyler Toffoli, Cole Caufield, and Brayden Point (plays his best when it matters). The Lightning are playing by the rules, but should the NHL and NHLPA make adjustments so that teams can’t circumvent the cap? It’s also NHL Award season, so the guys discuss award nominations and provide predictions for the winners. We also talk about the third round of the playoffs – the Tampa Bay Lightning have evened the series with the New York Islanders; and the Montreal Canadiens go down 1-0 early to the Vegas Golden Knights. We wrap up the episode with our DFS picks for the week.

Highlights:

  • Tyler Toffoli has been a massive acquisition for the Montreal Canadiens
  • Cole Caufield has been impressive
  • Vegas comes back from a 2-0 deficit, takes series against Colorado 4-2
    • Changes coming to Colorado in the off-season?
  • NHL Award nominees, and our predictions.
    • Norris Trophy discussion – who should have been nominated?
  • Gerard Gallant hired as New York Rangers head coach
  • DFS/Draft King picks for the upcoming week (June 14th – 21st)
